Katie (she/her) is a New York-based professional Actor, Choreographer, Intimacy Director/Coordinator, Fight Director, and Movement Specialist. A Virginia Commonwealth University and Shenandoah University graduate she holds a Master of Fine Arts specializing in Movement and Choreography and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre. Katie has trained extensively with the DAH Theatre in Belgrade, Serbia, and attributes many of her movement practices and techniques to her time in Europe. Other training includes SITI Company, Theatrical Intimacy Education,  Intimacy Directors & Coordinators, and Neutral Chaos. She is certified with SAFD and holds her 200 hr yoga certification through Yoga Alliance. Katie Claire is a member of Actors Equity as well as SAG eligible.

Katie frequently works at Vanguard Theatre in Montclair, NJ. Vanguard Theatre Company's mission is to change social and cultural narratives through theatre dedicated to DREAM: Diversity, Reciprocity, Education, Activism, and Mentorship.
